Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need riding experience?
No experience is needed for our beginner rides and half-day tours. Our guides will give you a full introduction before you set off. For the full-day and multi-day tours, some previous riding experience is recommended.
What is the minimum age?
Children aged [X] and over are welcome to join with a parent or guardian. Please get in touch if you have younger children and we will do our best to find a suitable option.
Is there a weight limit?
For the comfort and safety of our horses, we ask that riders weigh no more than [X] kg. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.
What should I wear?
Long trousers and closed shoes with a small heel are essential. Layers are recommended as mountain weather can change quickly. Helmets are provided. Please avoid sandals, shorts, or loose scarves.
What should I bring?
Water, sunscreen, a small backpack, and a camera. We provide [list what is included — water, snacks, lunch etc.] on longer rides.
Is it safe for beginners?
Absolutely. Our beginner horses are calm and well-trained, our guides are experienced, and helmets are provided for all riders. We take safety very seriously and adapt every ride to the group’s experience level.
What if the weather is bad?
Light rain is usually not a problem — riding in the mountains is an adventure in any weather! For severe weather, we will contact you in advance to reschedule at no extra cost.
Is transport to the meeting point provided?
We provide comfortable transportation, including pickup and drop-off from any location in Tbilisi.
What languages do your guides speak?
Our guides speak Georgian and English.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 2 days prior to the tour date receive a full refund. Cancellations within 2 days are 50% refundable.
How do I book?
You can make an inquiry for any of my tours using the tool above. Select the required tour, date and time. Make sure that in the following form you enter your correct name and email and indicate the number of people that will go on the tour. Soon after you submit the form you will get an automatic email, confirming that I received your request. Important! This isn’t confirmation for the tour, it’s just an indication that I received your inquiry.
Soon after your inquiry is received, I will send you a payment form (we you can pay by debit/credit card).
Only after your payment is your tour guaranteed!
